The Aurora Public Library Browse & Borrow Kiosk Has Landed at the SARC!
Aurora Public Library is excited to introduce our brand-new self-serve Browse & Borrow Kiosk at the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex (SARC). A new way to browse, borrow, and return with ease.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the official ribbon cutting with Mayor Tom Mrakas and Library CEO Jodi Marr, and to those who stayed to celebrate with sweet treats and stories!
This new kiosk brings the library closer to where you live, play, and gather, offering convenient access to books during SARC’s open hours.

Prefer to read? Here's how it works:
Borrowing is quick and easy:
1. Scan your Aurora Public Library card.
2. Enter your 4-digit PIN.
3. Open the door when it unlocks.
4. Browse and take the books you want.
5. Close the door to finish your checkout.
The kiosk automatically checks out the books to your account and emails you a confirmation with due dates.
To return books:
1. Scan your library card.
2. Open the door.
3. Place the item on a shelf.
4. Close the door — the kiosk will scan and check in the return.
You can return any APL book to the kiosk, not just those borrowed from it.
