No changes by the artist are permitted once the submission is finalized. If a piece sells before the exhibition submission has been approved, another piece of art may be used in its place, subject to the approval of the Colleen Abbott Art Gallery Committee (CAAG). The decision to exchange an artwork for another remains solely at the discretion of the artist; however, as per the Public Art Policy, the Library reserves the right to curate the works presented and may request an alternative work if deemed more suitable for the temporary exhibition space. All suggested replacements are subject to committee approval. If the artist and the committee cannot agree on the proposed changes, the show will not be approved. If a piece sells after the exhibition has been approved but before or during the exhibition period, the sale must be processed after the duration of the exhibit. No prices are to be displayed with the art. The CAAG will not review any submissions that do not contain images of the artwork.
