The library makes it easy for you to access the internet and make cool stuff!

We have 20 computers loaded with the Microsoft 2016 Office software as well as a choice of browsers (Chrome, Firefox and IE).  Our networked computers print in black-and-white as well as in colour.  We offer photocopying (charges apply) in addition to scanning of documents at no charge.

Our wireless (wi-fi) is free and you have unlimited access.  To make it easier for those who do not have a library card, we have a limited number of Chromebooks that offer 8-hour internet access.  And for those who prefer to sit down in a comfortable armchair rather than the central PC area, our Chromebooks can be checked out for 8 hours daily.  For those who need to use the internet very briefly, our catalogue computers also offer 20-minute sessions (no library card needed).

If you have a smartphone or tablet, use these apps to access our services wherever you go.

Mobile Printing (wi-fi printing in the library/remote printing from home)

You can now submit print jobs to the main floor Library printer from your computer or mobile device.  You can send mobile print jobs while in the Library, or anywhere there is an Internet connection.

There are 3 ways this can be done:

  1. Send an email with the document you wish to have printed attached to:

aurorapl-black@printspots.com (for black and white printing) or
aurorapl-colour@printspots.com (for colour printing)

2. Open your web browser and enter the URL http://www.printeron.com/aurorapl/print and follow the steps on the website to upload your document to be printed.

3. Download the Printeron mobile app from itunes or Google Play and send the print job via your mobile device.

Once your job is submitted you will be emailed a 6 digit print release code.  You will need this code to retrieve your job.

Your print job will show up on the main floor print station under GoPrint Mobile.

Once you click the GoPrint Mobile button you will be presented with a keypad where you can enter your 6 digit release code to select your job.  Print jobs can be paid for at the print station via your Library card or print cash card.
