What is Summer Reading Club?
TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest bilingual reading program for kids.
It’s free, fun, and runs all summer long.
Kids read what they love, track their progress, and earn prizes.
You can join at the library, at home, or anywhere.
How it works
Register for Summer Reading Club and you will get:
- A reading notebook
- Stickers
- Activity challenges
- A brag tag on a chain
Use your brag tag to collect reading beads for every 15 minutes of reading.
Why Read All Summer?
Reading during the summer helps children avoid the “summer slide.
Kids who don’t read over the summer can lose valuable literacy skills before returning to school.
Just 15 minutes of reading a day can help maintain confidence, improve reading skills, grow imagination and support lifelong learning.
