Learn to “Zoom”: Live Practice Lab for Newcomers

Learn to “Zoom”: Live Practice Lab for Newcomers
May 10th, 6:00pm to 7:00pm

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Zoom video communications platform became an important and popular online tool that allowed us to stay connected with our community, friends and family members, as well as to access community services and programs.

This program will help newcomers to Canada learn and practice basic Zoom skills (how to access zoom, join/leave a meeting, mute/unmute yourself, turn your camera on/off, etc.) and advanced Zoom skills (how to share your screen, set up a virtual background, host a meeting and use other meeting features) in a small group setting with the support of a live Zoom Skills Coach.

In partnership with Catholic Community Services of York Region (CCSYR) through Library Settlement Partnerships (LSP).

To register email LSP@ccsyr.org; Call/Text  416-258-9015.
