Acute discrimination and the Asian-white mental health gap during COVID-19

Fear, stress and depression are common experiences during public health crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to a spike in anti-Asian hate crimes, data collected show acute discrimination explains a large share of the CIVID-19 related mental health gap in this population.
