Get or Renew a Library Card

In these uncertain times, APL has made it easier than ever to get or renew a library card!

 

Even though our facility is currently closed, we have many virtual options to get you connected to our resources, whether you are a new member or an existing cardholder.

 

Fill out the following form and staff will email you within 2-3 business days with a temporary barcode, as well as instructions on how to video conference with Access staff to present ID for full borrowing!

As a new cardholder, please hit "Continue" to fill out and submit the following form.

 

Library staff will create your account and email you a temporary digital-use barcode for full access to our Digital Shelf content (including eBooks, eAudiobooks, music & video streaming, online learning and more) within 3 business days.

 

The email will also contain instructions on how to video chat live to present proof-of-address ID to upgrade to a full 2-year membership.

During the province-wide lockdown, all card renewals are taking place virtually.

 

Hit "Continue" and fill out the following form with your up-to-date information. Staff will then EMAIL you a link to schedule a Virtual ID Check appointment via Zoom, Facetime or Skype. Only one appointment is needed per household. Appointments are quick and easy!
