New User Registration

Membership is free to all who live, work, attend school, or own property in Aurora or any York Region municipality. Fill out this form to apply online for a free library card. Online applications will be processed within 72 hours excluding holidays. When your library card is ready, a staff member will send you an email notification and you will be able to pick up your card at the library at your convenience. Valid identification with current address must be presented at the time of pick-up. For more information, please click here.

Membership Terms and Agreement

  • Your card must be presented each time materials are borrowed
  • The registered cardholder is responsible for all materials issued on this card
  • Please notify the library of any change in address
  • Report a lost or stolen card immediately
  • A fee will be charged for the replacement of this card
  • Materials may be renewed in person, by telephone or online
